Greetings from the Mindcare Institute of Korea (MCI)

 

The Mindcare Center is currently looking for student volunteers to help out with social sklls groups for children and adolescents. MCI is a treatment center in Banpo that focuses on providing empirically supported assessment and treatment to a wide variety of clientele inculding children, adolescents, adults, and families.

We provide these services in English and Korean. We are looking for English speaking student volunteers who are high school students or college students to help out in these groups. The student volunteer will participate in the group together with the director of the clinic and their main role will be to be their natural supportive selves. Students are not expected to provide therapy to the social sklls group participants but rather to provie the supportive role of a big brother or a big sister to the children or adolescents in the group.
